First of all, I’d like to wish a very happy New Year to everyone, and all the best in 2014!
The past year, 2013, was a banner year with the publication of my book Healthcare Analytics for Quality and Performance Improvement, and 2014 promises to be even more exciting!
This upcoming year, I will be presenting at several key conferences this year. This month (January), I am presenting at the All About Data 2014 conference in Groningen, Netherlands. This coming April, I will be conference co-chair as well as presenting at the Institute for Health Technology Transformation(IHT2) Summit in Atlanta. I am also looking forward to co-chairing the IHT2 Summit in Seattle in August 2014.
In terms of new publications, I am expecting to release the Healthcare Analytics Strategy Toolkit in May. This will be an excellent companion to my book Healthcare Analytics for Quality and Performance Improvement, and will be packed with all the forms, templates, and guides you’ll need to fully develop a healthcare analytics strategy that enables your organization to achieve is quality and performance goals. Be sure to sign up for email updates using the form to receive updates about this exciting new publication!
As well, I’ve just signed on with Search Health IT as one of their Health IT experts, and will be contributing 3 or 4 articles per month on various Healthcare Information Technology topics (including many on Healthcare Analytics); I’ll be linking to all those upcoming articles right here on my blog.
Finally, expect to see some exciting and bold design changes to my website in the upcoming weeks; I’ve been working with one of the web’s top social media and web design experts to re-work the site, and I’m looking forward to sharing the upgrades with you very soon!
