Your website (tools and resources) indicates the analytics strategy template will be coming in January 2014. When will it be available?

Hi Laura, thanks for your note! I have been working on an updated strategy template document that will be posted to the resources section by Friday (Feb 28). I’m sorry that I didn’t update the resources page to reflect the new release date of that document; it’s been corrected now and I will be sure to notify you when the document is released. Thanks again!

Wanted to let you know that 60+ students will soon purchase your book for a class I am teaching at the UCLA School of Public Health, entitled “Health Analytics: Identifying, Collecting, and Analyzing Big Data in Healthcare.”

I found your book to be well written and accessible, and a good introduction to the field for public health students. I’m happy to share our full syllabus if useful. We are also covering some topics not found in the book (in much detail, anyway), including social media as a bid data source, queuing models, consumer health analytics, and wireless biosensors / quantified self movement.
